Meet the Faces Behind Atomic Hepcatz: Jake & Tiffany
At the heart of Atomic Hepcatz are two dancers whose stories are as vibrant as the moves they teach. This isn’t just a dance school—it’s a revival.
Jake was born into rhythm. Guided by his Nan, he took his first rock’n’roll steps at just two years old. By four, he was performing; by twelve, teaching—and soon he progressed from competitor to respected judge. That early spark ignited a lifelong passion, shaping a journey that went far beyond dance floors. Jake became the frontman of Jake & The Cadillacs, launched Rockabilly Australia, and has dedicated his life to keeping the mid-century flame burning bright.
Tiffany found dance early through ballet, tap, and contemporary. But everything changed when her Nan spotted an ad in the local paper for a rock’n’roll class. By nine, she was touring the country as a competitive dancer and later stepped naturally into teaching roles. She even took to the stage in a special Dancing with the Stars event, raising funds for cancer research. After stepping away to raise her daughter Millie, life came full circle when her childhood dance teacher, facing illness, encouraged her back for one final dance. Reconnecting with the dance community reignited Tiffany’s passion, and today she’s a powerhouse instructor, dedicated to building confidence, joy, and connection—passing her passion on to younger generations, including Millie herself.
Then fate stepped in. Jake and Tiffany—once teenage dance partners—crossed paths again, reigniting their shared spark. The scene had evolved, but their combined magic hadn’t faded. Together, they founded Atomic Hepcatz: a school with soul, crafted for today’s dancers yet deeply rooted in the golden age of swing, jive, and rock’n’roll.
